The Countach, with its wedge-shaped body designed by Marcello Gandini, has become the DNA of Lamborghini today.
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit from Tamiya, with a length of 175 mm and a width of 85 mm. The body is clear coated.
The Lamborghini Countach was first unveiled at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show and was a much-loved car among car enthusiasts from 1974 to 1990.
The model is based on a car built in 1974 and was the first Countach model to feature a V-wing and over-fenders that protruded beyond the wheels, reflecting a special specification commissioned by former F1 team owner Walter Wolf.
It later evolved into the regular design of the Countach LP400, a partially modified model produced from 1978, and had a major influence in establishing itself as an icon symbolizing the retro culture of the 1980s with its futuristic and attractive style.
